Punt, Hunt and Afternoon Tea

Whats Included?

Start the day with a self-run scavenger hunt – a great way to get to know the city. We suggest allowing 2 hours for the hunt which starts and finishes in the city centre. A sealed answers envelope is included for the teams to mark their answers at the end. This is followed by a lovely Afternoon Tea in a central restaurant. End your day’s activities with a relaxing 50 minute punting tour along the College Backs in Cambridge. You are welcome to bring drinks on board and there’s a Wine Merchants on the Quayside, where you can purchase drinks before boarding.

French Style Afternoon Tea

This delicious Afternoon Tea selection consist of various cakes including Lemon and Poppyseed, Carrot, Coconut, Chocolate and Raspberry and Chocolate Red Velvet, Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream and Bon Maman Strawberry Jam, Classic Croque Monsieur and Grilled Emmental Cheese Sandwich with Smoked Ham and Béchamel Sauce (vegetarian option of Portobello Mushroom available on request).

Smoking Cuban Afternoon Tea

Enjoy a smoking Cuban Cigar Sandwich (Wiltshire ham, Emmental cheese, smoked cheese, French’s American mustard & dill pickle relish wrapped in a toasted black pepper tortilla or Garlicky mushroom, smoked cheese, Emmental cheese, French’s American mustard wrapped in a toasted beetroot tortilla for veggies) & a cake stand of Tapas (Jackfruit Tinga or Chicken Tinga Tacos, Chicken Quesadilla or Dadinhos) and Treats (Colombian Chocolate Brownie, Tres Leche Cake & Peruvian Cookies) along with a delicious pot of Havana Club Rum tea. The Afternoon Tea is served in a centrally located restaurant and is available between 2pm and 5pm every day.

Italian-themed Afternoon Tea

A selection of Pizzettas (cheese and tomato base with rocket, roasted red peppers and goat’s cheese, cheese and tomato base with bufala mozzarella, parma ham and rocket and / or cheese and tomato base with bufala mozzarella and rocket, followed by Italian desserts, such as Dolcetti, Tiramisu and Panescone. Served with a glass of Prosecco or a Gin Tea Pot. This Afternoon Tea costs £20 per person. Upgrade to Free-Flowing Fizz Afternoon tea for only £30 per person!
