Time flies… I remember writing about the ‘Bridal Bucket List for 2019′   like it was yesterday, and now the start of the new year is just around the corner. Hence why I collected 5 New Year’s resolutions every Bride in 2020 should promise themselves & follow before the Big Day. Ladies, here it comes…

1. Enjoy the magic of being engaged

Being engaged is probably the best part of your relationship. No need to guess about your partner’s intentions anymore – you both know that you want each other for life, and this feeling is beautiful, honest and precious.

2. Ask your friends and family to plan your Hen Do

After all, what are besties for? No matter what sort of party they surprise you with, don’t forget that they did it for you with all their love. (P.S. at Cambridge Hen Party, we offer great activities as well as packages to make the last day & night of your freedom amazing. 😉 )

3. Don’t be too hard on yourself

Some brides decide to live according to strict rules before their wedding; they start crazy diets, stress too much to make sure everything is gonna be perfect, and so on. However, ladies, let’s not forget the golden rule: the wedding preparations, the ceremony & the party is organised most importantly for you and your husband-to-be, i. e. you guys should enjoy every minute of it. <3

4.  Keep calm & be patient

Some plans might not go they way you imagined… sometimes it causes difficulties to find the most delicious cake or choose the colour of the bridesmaids’ dress. Come on, these are teeny-tiny things! Always look at the bright side of things; at least, you don’t need to look for your future hubby anymore. 😉

5. Be the happiest bride on your Big Day

Christmas shopping can be stressful; I think I can confidently say that none of us particularly likes rushing to the grocery store for the last turkey which remained in the freezer or to spend hours waiting in the queues at any shopping centres.

Hence why we should start thinking about Christmas shopping a little bit earlier, so we can get that turkey on time and can also avoid the queues.

Ok, we like the concept of being organised, however, there is a teeny-tiny issue: what to get for our other half? We usually know the perfect present for our friends and family members, but it’s always difficult to think about Christmas gift ideas when it comes to men.

Collecting your favourite moments together in the form of photographs or photo albums is a great way to express how much you love spending time with him.

3. Warm Pyjamas

Go pyjamas for this Christmas! Men love wearing comfortable clothes, especially when it comes to relaxing at home. Not to talk about the fact that they look cute in funny Xmas PJ’s.

4. Special Drinks / Cocktail Kits

Most men love their drinks, and it’s always a cool idea to add a special liquor to their collections.

5. Toiletries

Although they don’t admit it, they love to take care of themselves. I mean, come on, it’s time for the 3-in-1 soap to disappear. By the way, have you ever heard about beard shampoo, oil and conditioner?

Get ready for the wedding with some killer dance moves during a 90-minute fun-filled session! You can choose any dance style you like. Our most popular ones are Salsa, Grease and Dirty Dancing. Your highly experienced teacher will take you through the moves. (P.S. there is a fully licensed bar operating on the venue to make you feel cool on the floor.)
